HUGE CITY OF THE NETER OF KNOWLEDGE, NOW SMALL SCULPTURE GARDEN |
We arrived in the city of magik and knowledge to find another small sculpture garden.
Khmunu ("the City of the Eight") was a major cult centre of Djhuti, the neter of wisdom, healing and writing, symbolized by both the baboon and the ibis. |
The Greeks and Romans made their sculptural mark when they re-named the sacred city Hermopolis after their god Hermes. |
